When I find the perfect nest for my mate, it must include a bed as comfortable as this.

We lay in a darkened room on a stack of soft pillows and cushions. After eating some of the dry, tasteless pizza she’d been so ecstatic to share, Snryx had cautioned her to rest as much as possible. Even now, hours later, I was stunned that we had sat together for so long, in the same room, and no one had died. Even with three eager males just feet away, and I hadn’t been inside her.

She made it easy to be near them. Her curiosity and intelligence had even drawn Lohr to crowd up to the table, eager to taste the vile chemicals he’d denounced just minutes before. Plus, I had no reason to doubt her affection and loyalty to me, which took some of the edge off. Hopefully I could continue keeping my aggression low while she learned more about the squad. It would be best for all of us if she could accept us all as mates, though I didn’t know if a human female could even fathom such a thing.

Let alone survive it. As Lohr had said earlier, we didn’t even know if she’d be able to accommodate four dyni. If I was able to breed her, would she physically be able to deliver young? What would they even look like? Dyni hadn’t bred outside a laboratory in thousands of years. I’d never seen a young dynos outside of the training facility where our squad was reared.

Even if she survived mating the squad, we still had to worry about Axxol. Even if I managed to kill him, HQ would probably send another squad to eliminate us. For all I knew, they were already here. If we managed to survive an extermination attempt, we had to find a place of safety and comfort for our mate and her young.

Without Axxol, we couldn’t get off-planet.

With Axxol…

I wouldn’t be the one breeding her. I’d be dead.

Not only was he a BGR, but he also was the largest, most advanced BGR that DSC had ever created. Even if I doubled my size and strength every time I knotted inside Natalie, I’d still have a long way to go before I could compete with the likes of him. Curling around her, I fought down the raptor’s urge to stake claim on her sleeping body again. She needed to rest, and she damned well couldn’t rest with my knot swelled up inside her.

But I wanted to mark every inch of her with my scent. Fill her again and again until my cum dripped from her every time she moved. Imprint myself on every cell of her luscious body. She would wake and sleep, dream and breathe every moment with me touching her, loving her, and taking care of her.

I needed all those rut hormones to double and triple my size so I could fight off Axxol if and when our former alpha made an appearance.
